Phase 4

FSJD, Phase 4: Rs 50,000 Google Ads Model + Lead Tracking Setup

Prepared by Setidure Technologies, 2026-06-19. Scope: how many enquiries (and enrolments) Rs 50,000 of Google Ads should generate, and the concrete tracking stack that proves it. Tech stack (website, CRM, integration) is Phase 5.

All CPC and CTR numbers below are India-market benchmarks for the education vertical, validated against Google Ads industry data and Setidure's prior education campaigns. Wide ranges are deliberate. Actual values are confirmed only after 21 days of live data. Treat the median figure as the working estimate.

Working answer: with a clean setup and disciplined keyword targeting, Rs 50,000 in Google Ads in the Delhi NCR jewellery-education cluster should produce 100-140 leads, 20-30 applications, and 8-10 enrolled students at a CAC of roughly Rs 5,000-6,000 per enrolled student.

If month-1 lands closer to the conservative column (under 50 leads, under 3 enrolled), the problem is almost always one of: untracked landing page, ads pointing at the homepage instead of a course page, no negative keywords, or a slow phone-response time on the admissions side. None of those are fixed by adding budget.

2. Why these numbers are believable

CPC for the tight jewellery cluster is genuinely low. "Jewellery design course Delhi", "jewellery CAD training", "gemology course India", "diamond grading course Delhi" are not contested keywords. The cluster typically runs Rs 15-40 per click on exact match in India, well below the Indian-education vertical average of Rs 35-80. Source: Google Ads Keyword Planner forecast ranges for the IN-Delhi NCR geo, education vertical, observed in Setidure's other India education clients. Confirmed only after FSJD's own account ramps.

The same cluster for UI/UX is 4-6x higher. "UI UX course Delhi" runs Rs 80-180. "Graphic design course Delhi" runs Rs 40-90. This is why Phase 1 advised de-emphasising those lines, and why this Rs 50,000 plan excludes them from paid spend in month 1.

Landing-page conversion rate of 6% is a tight build target. Industry default for an education enquiry form is 3-4%. Reaching 6% requires: a course-specific landing page (not the homepage), a 5-field form (name, phone, email, course of interest, city), a WhatsApp click-to-chat above the fold, a fee visible (or "Get the fee sheet" CTA, which converts equally well), and a single Call CTA on mobile. Phase 5 specifies the build.

Application-to-enrolled at 40% assumes a Placement Officer or Admissions Counsellor responds inside 15 minutes during work hours. Industry data is unambiguous: response times above 1 hour cut the application rate by 60-80%. Without an Admissions Counsellor, plan for the conservative column.

3. Campaign structure for the Rs 50,000 month-1 budget

Three campaigns, with the budget split as follows.

CampaignDaily budgetFocusMatch typesWhy
1. Jewellery CAD + Design (Delhi NCR)Rs 1,000"jewellery CAD course delhi", "jewellery design diploma delhi", "rhino jewellery course india", "matrix jewellery training"Exact + PhraseHighest intent, lowest CPC, core revenue driver
2. Gemology + Diamond Grading (Delhi NCR + Pan-India)Rs 400"gemology course India", "diamond grading course", "GIA alternative india", "gemology diploma"Exact + PhraseLower volume but extremely qualified, longer fee tail (gemology students often add CAD too)
3. Brand defence + competitor termsRs 267"FSJD", "FORE School of Jewellery Design", "IIGJ Delhi fees" (legitimate comparison search), "Pearl Academy jewellery"Exact, brandedCaptures direct intent + comparison shoppers searching IIGJ; costs almost nothing for branded

Negative keywords from day 1 (these alone save 30-40% of wasted spend):

"free", "free course", "free certification", "scholarship only"

"wholesale", "buy", "online shop", "jeweller near me" (commercial intent, not education)

"salary", "salary in usa", "designer salary" (informational, no enrolment intent)

"tanishq", "kalyan", "joyalukkas" (brand-name product searches)

"class 10", "class 12", "school" (wrong demographic)

"fashion design", "interior design", "graphic design" (in month 1, until jewellery is bedded down)

4. Tracking, the four signals that actually matter

Every other ad-tech metric is noise. Track these four, end-to-end.

SignalImplementationWhere it lands
1. Form submission with course + sourceGTM trigger on the enquiry form's success event, custom GA4 event enquiry_submitted with parameters course_name, utm_source, utm_campaign, gclidGA4 + CRM (Phase 5)
2. WhatsApp click on any pageGTM trigger on any wa.me/919870100129 link, custom GA4 event whatsapp_click with same parametersGA4
3. Phone click (mobile)GTM trigger on tel: link, custom GA4 event phone_clickGA4
4. Enrolled (sale) confirmationManually marked in the CRM by Admissions Counsellor; weekly export to GA4 via Measurement Protocol or offline conversion importGA4 (Conversion: enrolled)

Importing offline conversions back to Google Ads is the single highest-leverage tracking change. Once Google sees which gclid ended in an enrolment, the algorithm optimises for enrolment-shaped clicks, not form-shaped clicks. CAC typically drops 30-50% inside 60 days of clean offline conversion data.

5. UTM rules (decide once, enforce forever)

Every paid link, every social link, every email link uses this exact format:

Allowed values (no others):

utm_source: google, meta, linkedin, whatsapp, email, qrcode, referral, partner

utm_medium: cpc, organic-social, email, display, referral, qr

utm_campaign: lowercase, hyphenated, year-month prefix, e.g. 2026-07-jddm-delhi, 2026-07-gemology-india, 2026-07-brand-defence

utm_content: creative ID, e.g. reel-faculty-01, carousel-fee-compare, ad-headline-3

utm_term: actual keyword, with underscores, e.g. jewellery_cad_course_delhi

A UTM builder lives at https://ga-dev-tools.google/campaign-url-builder/. Setidure will maintain a single spreadsheet of every active UTM combination so reporting and de-duplication stay honest.

6. Call tracking (the half of the funnel most institutes ignore)

For an education buyer in the Rs 85k-1.5L band, 40-55% of high-intent leads call rather than fill a form. Without call tracking, half the Phase-4 spend looks like it failed.

ToolCostSetup timeWhat it tracks
CallHippo or Knowlarity (India)Rs 1,500-3,500/month2 daysEach ad source gets a unique trackable phone number; recordings, time-to-answer, ringer logs
Google Forwarding Numbers (free, but limited in India)Rs 01 day, IF available for India geography (often not)Tracks calls from clicks on the Ads call extension only
Manual: ask each caller "How did you hear about us?"Rs 01 day of staff trainingLower quality but better than zero

Recommendation: pay Rs 1,500/month for CallHippo on month 1. It pays for itself the first time a call-only lead enrols.

7. The landing page for the ads (specification for Phase 5)

The single landing page that ads will point to in month 1 lives at fsjd.co.in/jewellery-design-diploma-delhi/. Content above the fold:

One sentence above the headline: "Delhi's specialist programme for jewellery CAD, gemology, and digital manufacturing."

Headline: "Become a placement-ready jewellery designer in 6 months."

Sub-head: "Hybrid weekend cohort. 220+ hours. CAD, gemology, and a portfolio that recruiters open."

Two CTAs visible without scrolling: "Get the fee sheet (WhatsApp)" and "Book a campus tour".

Faculty strip with 3 photos + 1-line credentials.

5-field form: Name, Mobile, Email, Course of interest, City.

Below the fold (in order, no clutter):

3-row syllabus snapshot (CAD weeks, gemology weeks, portfolio weeks).

Fee + EMI strip: "Fees from Rs 85,000. 0% EMI available via Eduvanz and GrayQuest."

Outcomes section: even if Cohort 1 isn't placed yet, say so honestly. "We are placing our first cohort in Dec 2026. Recruiters in our pipeline include..."

One single video (45-90 sec) of the lab.

FAQ block (with FAQ schema, see Phase 5).

A second copy of the form at the bottom.

Page weight target: under 1.5 MB, Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 sec on 4G. Built as a single WordPress page (since the site is already WordPress) using a lightweight template. Setidure to build.

8. Bidding strategy by week

WeekStrategyWhy
1Manual CPC, max bids of Rs 40Establish a clean baseline. Avoid Smart Bidding before there is conversion data to learn from.
2Manual CPC, raise underperforming-position keywords by 20%Test elasticity
3Switch to Maximize Conversions with target daily budgetThe account now has 15-30 conversions, enough to start automated bidding
4Move to Target CPA, set CPA = Rs 500 (median CPL)Algorithm now optimises directly for the metric that matters

This week-by-week ramp matters. Going straight to Smart Bidding on day 1 wastes 30-50% of month-1 budget on Google's learning phase. The four-week ramp is standard Setidure practice for India education clients.

9. The weekly reporting rhythm

A 7-line WhatsApp message to the CEO every Monday morning. Nothing else.

FSJD week of <date>

Spend: Rs <x>

Clicks: <n> | CTR: <x>%

Leads (form + WhatsApp + call): <n>

Apps: <n>

Enrolled (confirmed by counsellor): <n>

CAC this week: Rs <x>

Top issue / fix: <one line>

Setidure produces the dashboard. The CEO does not log into Google Ads. If the CAC trends above Rs 8,000 for two consecutive weeks, Setidure pauses spend and triggers an account audit.

10. Scaling rule (when, and only when)

Do not add budget until:

CAC is under Rs 6,000 for 3 consecutive weeks.

Admissions Counsellor response time is under 15 min for 95% of leads (measured in the CRM).

Landing-page form conversion is above 5%.

When all three hold, scale to Rs 1,00,000/month, then Rs 1,50,000/month. Do not skip steps. Most education brands at this size break themselves by scaling spend before the operational throughput exists, ending up with a 20% increase in cost and a 0% increase in enrolled.

11. What the user can do today (3 hours of work)

Open Google Ads, create the FSJD account (use admin@fsjd.co.in, link to GA4 ID G-ETBH4QWEYC already configured in Setidure infrastructure).

Verify ownership of fsjd.co.in in Google Search Console (one-click via existing GA4 verification).

Buy a CallHippo number, list it on the ad campaign and on the landing page only (not anywhere else, otherwise organic calls get attributed to paid).

Brief Setidure to build the /jewellery-design-diploma-delhi/ landing page (24-48 hours of dev), the GTM container update for the 4 conversion signals (4 hours), and the 3-campaign skeleton in Google Ads (2 hours).

Approve a written escalation rule with the Admissions Counsellor: "Every lead is called within 15 minutes during 09:00-21:00 IST."

Total elapsed time to live ads: 5 working days. Total Rs 50,000 spent across 30 days from go-live.
