About Our Programmes
Which design programmes are offered at FORE School of Communication Design?

We offer Diploma programmes in Jewellery Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, and an Integrated Diploma in Graphic Design and UI/UX Design.
How are the diploma programmes taught?

Programmes are delivered through studio sessions, workshops, assignments, projects, and portfolio development.
Do I need prior design experience to join these programmes?

No prior design experience is required.
What software and tools will I learn?
+
Students learn industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CAD tools, and AI-assisted design tools.
Will AI be included in the curriculum?

Yes. AI tools and emerging technologies are integrated into the curriculum.
Will I work on real projects?

Students work on practical projects, case studies, and portfolio assignments.
Can I pursue the course while studying or working?

What is the advantage of the Integrated Diploma?

What laptop specifications are recommended?

A laptop capable of running professional design software is recommended. Your counsellor will share specific requirements for your chosen programme.
Will I receive a diploma certificate?

Yes, students receive a diploma certificate upon successful completion.

Admissions
Do I need prior jewellery experience to enrol?
+
No. Our entry-level programmes — QCP BASIC and QGP Level 1 — are designed for creative beginners. What matters is interest in learning and willingness to spend time at the bench.
How do I apply?

Submit the form on /contact, take the AI matcher on /matcher, or WhatsApp +91 98701 00129. A counsellor will reach you on WhatsApp within the hour during business hours.
Is there an entrance test?
+
For entry-level programmes, no — a portfolio is helpful but not required. For advanced levels, your counsellor will assess readiness on the first call.
What are the intake dates?
+
Intakes happen multiple times a year and vary by programme level. The live cohort ticker at the top of the site shows the next QCP BASIC date. Speak to a counsellor for the others.

Fees & Payment
What are the programme fees?
+
QGP starts at ₹14,900 + GST (Level 1) and goes up to ₹90,000 + GST for advanced. QCP is ₹60,000 + GST per level for L1/L2 and ₹75,000 + GST for the Masterclass. The Dual Diploma is approximately ₹3,44,800 + GST in total.
Is EMI available?

Yes — speak to a counsellor for current EMI partners and terms.
Are there scholarships?
+
We run cohort-specific scholarships and assistance programmes. A counsellor can tell you what is open for the next intake.
Are application or registration fees refundable?
+
No — application and registration fees are non-refundable. Programme fees are governed by the Refund & Cancellation policy.

Curriculum
What are the major programmes at FSJD?
+
Qualified Gem Professional (QGP, 3 levels), Qualified CAD Professional (QCP, 3 levels), and the Dual Diploma combining both. See the Programmes page for full curriculum and level breakdown.
Are programmes online, offline, or hybrid?
+
It depends on the level. QGP Level 1 and QCP Levels 1-2 are hybrid (online + offline). QGP Level 3 is offline-only at our Delhi campus. Each programme page lists the mode and duration per level.
What certification do I receive?

A level-specific certificate after each level, and a full diploma certificate on completing all three levels of a programme.
Will I build a portfolio?
+
Yes — every programme ends with a portfolio. The QCP Masterclass and the Dual Diploma include a capstone studio block dedicated to portfolio development.

Where is FSJD located?

Classrooms: FORE School of Jewellery Design, 3rd Floor, B-35, Block B, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi 110016. Parent campus: FORE School of Management, "Adhitam Kendra" B-18, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi - 110016 (India). Visits are by appointment — book via the contact form.
Can I visit the campus before enrolling?

Absolutely — and we recommend it. Use the contact form to book a slot. We open to prospective students by appointment.
Is hostel / accommodation available?

We do not operate a hostel directly but maintain a list of vetted accommodation partners around the Qutab area. Ask a counsellor for the current list.
What are the class hours?

Schedules vary per level. Hybrid programmes typically run weekday evenings for online sessions and weekend full-days for offline blocks. Your counsellor will share the exact schedule for your intake.

Career Outcomes
Do you provide placement support?

Yes. Graduates are supported into roles at jewellery houses, gem labs, export units, retail brands, and as independent designers and entrepreneurs. The QCP Masterclass includes portfolio and brand-building modules specifically for this.
Where do FSJD graduates typically work?

Can I start my own brand after FSJD?

Yes — the Dual Diploma and QCP Masterclass are specifically structured for designers who want to launch their own label. You leave with a portfolio, a business plan, and a network.

Policy & Refunds
What is the refund policy?
+
Fees are generally non-refundable once a programme has commenced. Pre-commencement withdrawal may qualify for a partial refund less an administrative fee. Full policy is on the Refund & Cancellation page.
Can a programme be cancelled by FSJD?
+
In rare circumstances. If FSJD cancels a programme, the full fee is refunded or you may transfer to an alternative programme. See the Refund & Cancellation policy.
